Wind Driven Fire .. We shall Rember them

Marg and John Jarvis live on the Melba Highway at Glenburn. Their property was the first to bore the front of the Black Saturday Bushfire when it roared into Glenburn from the Kinglake forest at about 9pm that terrible night.

Marg penned this moving poem which sumarises the event and the effect it had upon the Community of Glenburn.

On the second Anniversary of the Black Saturday Bushfires  Marg has written a commemorative poem to remember  those that perished on that horrific day. The background picture has been taken exactly where the first picture seen behind "Wind Driven Fire' was taken. The regeneration is quite remarkable.
