Glenburn ANZAC Day Dawn Service 2009

About 150 people braved the cold and foggy morning to attend the traditional Glenburn dawn Service. Following the Service a BBQ breakfast including ANZAC biscuits and fruit cake was served. It was most gratifying to see so many 'new faces' who had come from afar. We were truly fortunate that the rain held off for the entire Service and following get together. Some one was watching !?

The Service was organised by Mgggie Taylor on behalf of the Glenburn Hall and Progress Associalion Inc and presented with dignity by Leonard Sheahan. The colour party was piped in by local International renouned Scotish piper Paul Wainscott. Sincere thanks to all the other helpers that made it such a resounding success.
